PENGEMBANGAN KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH MELALUI AKTIVITAS BERMAIN MODEL SKILL PLAY

Abstract


Abstract:  Developing the Motor Skills of Preschool Children through Activities of Skill Play. Pre­school age children need mentoring people in the surrounding environment to help develop psychosocial and motor skills. This article describes attempts to develop the motor skills of preschool age children by using a model of Skill Play. The study was conducted using pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. 40 subjects were drawn purposively from four kindergartens in Lowokwaru, Malang, East Java. The changes in motor skills were observed using Pre-Screening Developmental Questionnaire. The results demonstrate that there are differences in motor skills before and after the treatment using Skill Play.

Abstrak: Pengembangan Kemampuan Motorik Anak Usia Prasekolah melalui Aktivitas bermain Model Skill Play. Anak usia prasekolah membutuhkan pendampingan orang-orang di lingkungan seki­tarnya untuk membantu mengembangkan kemampuan psikososial dan motorik. Skill play adalah model aktivitas bermain yang bermanfaat untuk mengembangkan kemampuan motorik. Artikel ini memaparkan pengembangan kemampuan motorik dengan memergunakan aktivitas bermain model skill play sebagai bentuk perlakuan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain praeksperimental one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 40 anak usia prasekolah yang diambil secara purposif dari 4 Taman Kanak-Kanak di Ke­camatan Lowokwaru Malang. Perubahan kemampuan motorik diamati dengan memergunakan instrumen kuesioner Pra-Skrining Perkembangan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemam­puan motorik antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan.
