Cara Guru Memotivasi dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Aktivitas Siswa dalam Proses Pembelajaran

The study is aimed at exploring how far the teacher motivate his/her students in teaching learning process and its effects on the students activities in learning process. Data were gathered from Social Studies teachers of elementary schools in Padang Selasa, Palembang, by using a nonparticipant observation. Percentages and product moment correlation were applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that the teacher uses various methods and makes the students compete one another in teaching learning process. There is no effect of the way in which the teacher motivates his/her students and the students activities in learning process
