Peningkatan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar IPS melalui Penerapan Model Mind Mapping berbasis Pendekatan SAVI

Abstract


Meaningfulness learning can be achieved by increasing the activity of students. The results of preliminary observation indicate the participation of students less visible on the learning process that impact on the low activity and student learning outcomes. This study aimed to describe the learning through the model-based mind mapping SAVI approach to enhance the activity and student learning outcomes. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach with class action research type through stages planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were grade IV students 8 male students and 12 female students. The results showed that the application of the model-based approach SAVI Mind Mapping can increase the activity and results of social studies class IV SDN Karangsono.

Kebermaknaan pembelajaran dapat dicapai dengan meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan partisipasi siswa kurang tampak pada proses pembelajaran yang berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran melalui model mind mapping berbasis pendekatan SAVI untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV 8 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Mind Mapping Berbasis Pendekatan SAVI dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS kelas IV SDN Karangsono.
