Analisis Penguasaan Konsep Siswa pada Materi Fluida Statis

Abstract: This study aims to describe mastery of high school students concept on static fluid material. The method used is descriptive analysis. Data were taken from 69 students of MAN 1 Tulungagung 12th grade. The instrument consists of nine items of multiple choice test with reason. The result of the analysis shows that the students' mastery of concept on static fluid material is good with average value of 63.45. Students have  some difficulty especially at the hydrostatic pressure of a system that has different room. Almost students are difficult when comparing the bouyant force an object under different conditions.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguasaan konsep siswa SMA pada materi fluida statis. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Data diambil dari 69 siswa MAN 1 Tulungagung kelas XII. Instrumen berupa sembilan butir soal tes berbentuk pilihan ganda disertai dengan alasan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi fluida statis tergolong baik dengan nilai rata-rata 63,45. Siswa memiliki kesulitan pada bahasan tentang tekanan hidrostatis suatu sistem yang memiliki ruangan berbeda. Serta banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan saat membandingkan gaya angkat yang dialami suatu benda pada kondisi yang berbeda.
