Pengembangan Konseling Person Centered Bermuatan Nilai Budaya Sasak

Abstract


Abstract: Culture is one of the important factors in the counseling process. An understanding of the counselee culture will help the counselor to better know and understand the counselee. This research was aimed to develop counseling guidelines with the contents of Sasak cultural values used to assist counselors in East Lombok. The development method used is Borg & Gall method. Based on the results of trials by three experts judgement, namely learning media experts, guidance and counseling experts, and cultural experts and three prospective product users, stated that the Person-Centered counseling guide with Sasak cultural values fulfills the aspects of product feasibility and acceptance based on theoretical and practical aspects.

Abstrak: Budaya merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam proses konseling. Pemahaman terhadap budaya konseli akan membantu konselor untuk lebih mengenal dan memahami diri konseli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan konseling dengan muatan nilai budaya Sasak yang digunakan untuk membantu konselor di Lombok timur. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode Borg & Gall. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli media pembelajaran, ahli bimbingan konseling, ahli budaya, dan tiga calon pengguna produk menyatakan bahwa panduan konseling Person Centered bermuatan nilai budaya Sasak ini memenuhi aspek kelayakan dan keberterimaan produk berdasarkan aspek teoritis maupun praktis.
