INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI KELUARGA SUKU SELAYAR

Abstract


This study aimed to describe the values of the local culture in the economic behavior of Selayar tribal family in Selayar Islands. This research is a qualitative ethnographic approach. Sources of data in this research that the community leaders/local traditional leaders. The data collection was done by in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results show two things as the focus of research to be achieved, namely (1) the values of the local culture in economic behavior Selayar tribal family, and (2) the implications of the values of the local culture in the process of economic education Selayar tribal family.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam perilaku ekonomi keluarga suku Selayar di Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tokoh masyarakat/tokoh adat setempat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua hal sebagaimana fokus penelitian yang ingin dicapai, yaitu (1) nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam perilaku ekonomi keluarga suku Selayar dan (2) implikasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal pada proses pendidikan ekonomi keluarga Suku Selayar.
