<p>Abstract: The study was intended to disseminate and to test the effectiveness of integrated communicative verbal folklore based Javanese teaching and learning at elementary schools as the manifestation of culture conservation. The study used experimental research design. The subjects of the study were the teachers and the students of elementary schools in Semarang and in Banyumas. The results of the study suggested that the teaching and learning design was effective. The learning outcome of the experimental class was better than controlled class and the performance of the experimental class during the teaching and learning was more active, enthusiastic, and creative. According to the teachers’ opinion, the teaching and learning did not only teach the language, literature, and cultures but it also built the characters. Besides, this teaching and learning could be considered as an alternative of the conservation of Javanese cultures.</p><p>Keywords: integrated, communicative, verbal folklore</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesiminasi dan menguji efektivitas desain pembelajaran bahasa Jawa SD yang integratif-komunikatif berbasis folklore lisan sebagai wujud konservasi budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa SD di Semarang dan Banyumas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran ini efektif. Hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol dan kinerja siswa kelas eksperimen selama pembelajaran lebih aktif, antusias, dan kreatif. Menurut pendapat guru, pembelajaran ini selain membelajarkan bahasa, sastra, dan budaya, juga membelajarkan karakter. <p>Abstract: The study was intended to produce a Silat Pedang interactive multimedia to teach dancing course at elementary schools. The research model used was ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) for the elementary school level. The data was obtained from observation, interview, documentation study, and questionnaires which were given to the students and the teachers of the fourth grade at Tunas Unggul Olus National School. The results of the study suggested that Silat Pedang interactive multimedia could improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning outcome because it fulfilled the requirements of relevancy, convenience, attractiveness, and expediency.</p><p>Keywords: interactive multimedia, ADDIE model, silat pedang</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif silat pedang untuk pembelajaran seni tari di SD. Model penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design,Development, Implementation and Evaluation) pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada siswa dan guru kelas 4 Sekolah Olus Nasional Tunas Unggul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif silat pedang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran karena memenuhi syarat-syarat kesesuaian atau relevansi, kemudahan, kemenarikan, dan kemanfaatan.</p><p>Kata kunci: multimedia interaktif, model ADDIE, silat pedang.</p>Dwi Anggraini

<p>Abstract: the current study was intended to develop social inquiry based social science teaching and learning to build the social awareness in elementary schools. The development processes were preliminary study, model development, model tryout. The results of the development included (1) lesson plans of social science for elementary schools, and (2) the social inquiry based social science teaching and learning model which was appropriate, valid, and effective to achieve the goals of the teaching and learning. The result of this study which was the social inquiry based social science teaching and learning model should be implemented by elementary school teachers in building the social awareness.</p><p>Keywords: social science teaching and learning, social inquiry, character building, elementary schools.</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran IPS berbasis inkuiri sosial dalam membentuk karakter peduli sosial. Langkah pengembangan meliputi studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji model. Hasil pengembangan meliputi (1) Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) IPS SD, dan (2) model pembelajaran IPS berbasis inkuiri sosial yang layak, valid, dan efektif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. <p>Abstract: The developmental study was intended to produce the training model of creative teaching and learning which fulfilled the criteria of expediency, appropriateness, and relevance theoretically and practically. The research steps included preliminary study, planning of early form of the model, expert validation, the try out of the model, and the revision of the model. <p>Abstract: The developmental study was intended to find out the test result of the effectiveness of writing teaching and learning by using Whole Language approach; and to obtain the appropriateness of the writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach at Elementary schools. The steps of the study included preliminary study, model development, model try out, and dissemination. The results of the study suggested that (1) the writing competence of the students who learnt writing by using Whole Language approach was better than those who learnt writing conventionally; and (1) writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach could be accepted by the stakeholders well.</p><p>Keywords: writing skills, Whole Language approach, elementary schools.</p><p>Abstrak: penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan hasil uji efektivan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar; dan mendapatkan keberterimaan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, pengujian model, dan deseminasi. <p>Abstract: The grounded qualitative research was intended to produce a construction model of good character building according to The Best Practice of Character Building which was implemented in the best elementary schools in East Java. The results of the study suggested that the visions of schools were informed to all people involved in the schools then were understood, and the commitment to realize the visions was built. Based on the visions, character building activities were planned through the teaching and learning in the classrooms, the cultures of the schools, the extracurricular activities, and the involvement of the parents as well as the society. It could be concluded that the implementation of character building could build good characters in the elementary schools.</p><p>Keywords: character building, best practices, elementary schools.</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan grounded risearch ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah konstruksi model pendidikan karakter yang baik berdasar riset di The Best Practice Pendidikan Karakter yang dipraktikkan SD-SD terbaik di Jawa Timur. <br />Hasil penelitian menunjukkan visi satuan pendidikan disosialisasikan kepada seluruh civitas satuan pendidikan yang bersangkutan, dipahami, kemudian membangun komitmen bersama untuk mencapai visi. Berdasarkan visi tersebut disusunlah program kegiatan pembelajaran karakter melalui pembelajaran di kelas, kultur satuan pendidikan, kegiatan ekstra kurikuler, dan pelibatan peran serta orang tua dan masyarakat. <p>Abstract: The classroom action research was intended to build the Indonesian characters of the students through the implementation of value clarification technique by using folklore. The subjects of the study were 32 fifth graders of Public Elementary School 03 South Pontianak West Borneo. The data was collected by using observation and interview. The results of the study showed that the value clarification technique by using folklore could build the Indonesian characters of the students. It could be suggested that the implementation of value clarification technique by using folklore should be promoted to use during the teaching and learning in order to build the Indonesian characters of the elementary school students.</p><p>Keywords: value clarification technique, folklore, character building.</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan membentuk karakter ke-Indonesia-an siswa melalui implementasi teknik klarifikasi nilai berbantuan foklor. Subjek penelitian meliputi 32 siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Selatan Kalimantan Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan teknik klarifikasi nilai berbantuan foklor dapat membentuk karakter ke-Indonesia-an siswa. <p>Abstract: The study was intended to develop a teaching and learning set of Team Assisted Individualized on the materials of integer arithmetic operation. The development processes were define, design, and develop. The subjects of the study were the fifth graders of Public Elementary School 2 Later. The data was collected from the expert validation, observation, questionnaire, and the students’ achievement test. The study produced a teaching and learning set which included (1) lesson plan, (2) students’ book, and (3) students’ worksheet. The validator gave 3.6 for the teaching and learning set; 84.6% for the implementation of the teachers’ activities; 86.4% for the implementation of the students’ activities; 93.1% for the teachers’ respond; 92.5% for the students’ respond l and 19 out of 21 students who took the achievement test achieved 90.5% of the completeness.</p><p>Keywords: team assisted individualized, arithmetic operation, integer.</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model Team Assisted Individualized pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Proses pengembangan ditempuh melalui define, design, dan develop. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Lateri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan validasi ahli, observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa (1) Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), (2) Buku Siswa (BS), dan (3) Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Validator memberikan skor 3,6 untuk perangkat pembelajaran; keterlaksanaan aktivitas guru 84,6%; keterlaksanaan aktivitas siswa 83,1%; respons guru 93,1%; respons siswa 92,5%; dan 19 dari 21 siswa yang mengikuti tes hasil belajar mencapai ketuntasan 90,5%.</p><p>Kata kunci: team assisted individualized, operasi hitung, bilangan bulat.</p>Wilmintjie Mataheru

<p>Abstract: The classroom action research was intended to describe (1) the improvement of the learning motivation, (2) the natural science learning outcome, and (3) the students ’ respond on the implementation of SAVI teaching and learning model by utilizing mind map. The subjects of the study were the fifth graders of Public Elementary School 08 West Tianyar. The data was collected from observation, questionnaire, and test. The results of the study suggested that (1) the implementation of the SAVI teaching and learning model could improve the learning motivation of the students (15.84%); (2) the implementation of the SAVI teaching and learning model could improve the natural science learning outcome of the students (13.49%); (4) the students’ to the implementation of the SAVI teaching and learning model by utilizing mind map was very positive and it was enjoyable.</p><p>Keywords: learning motivation, learning outcome, SAVI teaching and learning, mind map</p><p>Abstrak: penelitian ini tindakan kelas ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) peningkatkan motivasi belajar, (2) peningkatkan hasil belajar IPA, dan (3) tanggapan siswa tentang penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI bermuatan peta pikiran. <p>Abstract: The experimental study was intended to prove the effects of group investigation (GI) model towards the natural science learning outcome of the elementary school students. The sample which was two classes was taken by using simple random sampling. The data was collected by using treated instruments (syllabus and lesson plans) and the instruments of measuring the learning outcome (pre-test and post-test). The data was analyzed by using prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis test through t-test. The results of the study suggested that GI had significant effect on the learning outcome. The probability value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and the values of T > Ttable (12,800 >1,991) which meant that Ho was rejected so the GI teaching and learning model had positive effect on the natural science learning outcome.</p><p>Keywords: group investigation model, learning outcome, natural science</p><p>Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan pengaruh model group inestigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa sekolag dasar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel dua kelas. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument perlakuan (silabus dan rencana pelaksanan pembelajaran) dan instrument pengukuran hasil belajar (soal pretest dan post test). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-prasyarat analisis dan uji-hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran GI terhadap hasil belajar.
