Pengaruh Variasi Kecepatan Dan Variabel Putaran Spindel Mesin Frais Terhadap Kekasaran Permukaan Pada Proses Frais Mmc Matriks Kuningan Penguat Fly Ash

Abstract


Metal matrix composite (MMC) is composite material which based bronze as matrix material and fly ash as strenghtener material. Fly ash is one of  product  of  sugar industry burning retention. MMC consist of  15% wight of Cu, 83% wight of Zn, and 5% wight of flay ash. This researche will explore machinabilities of this material. Milling machine metode is choised for cutting of this material. Problem of this research are:" What are feeding (s) and revolution of spindle (n) influence to surface roughness as cutting product of milling machine?" Research design is used is inferential quantitative. Datas collecting performed with laboratories test. Otherwise, surface roughness datas is collected with dial indicator instrument. Results of this research are (1) spindle revolution and feeding  variables in not free or have inter-influence to surface roughness quality of MMC material, (2) Relation strength of spindle revolution and feeding  variables in not free or have inter-influence to surface roughness quality of MMC material is weak. This research conclutions are (1) spindle revolution and feeding  variables is not free or have inter-influence to surface roughness quality of MMC material, (2) Relation strength of spindle revolution and feeding  variables in not free or have inter-influence to surface roughness quality of MMC material is weak, The weakness of both parameters can be caused by cutter tool, material properties, and measurement instrument are used.
