Desain Dan Pembuatan Alat Pendeteksi Gas Beracun Co Dalam Kabin Mobil Berbasis Mikrokontroler
Abstract
An undetected leakage of exhausted gases which blow into cabin room cause poisoned at respiration system such as: weakening, faint and even death. Therefore it’s necessary to design an appliance which can detect the existence of leakage of the exhausted gases so the accident can be obviated. The appliance is made in a CO detector which will be attached in a car cabin. This appliance will present gas rate of CO in set of ppm. If the gases of CO have been detected equal to 35 ppm or more, so an alarm will sound and two window panes will open automatically. The result is the appliance has specification: (1) Dimension is 190 x 120 x 60 mm, (2) type sensor is HS-134 Carbon Monoxide Element, (3) the microcontroller used AVR ATmega 16, (4) the LCD display used LCD M1632, (5) type of relays are SPDT 10 A and QPDT 5 A, (6) buzzer used 12 V, (7) power supply is DC 12 V with minimum current 2 A, (8) temperature operation for the appliance is among 0 - 50 C, (9) humidity of air under 95%, (10) indicator of measuring instrument is among 0 - 1000 ppm, (11) accuracy of the appliance is ± 16 ppm, (12) warm-up time of sensor is not less than ± 5 minute,(13) sensor age is until 5 year under follow standard operation, ( 14) Application of the appliance at the car which has power window system, ( 15) Alarm of buzzer sound when gases rate of CO have been detected 35 ppm or more, ( 16) Two window panes of car open automatically when gases rate of CO have been detected 35 ppm.
