EVALUASI VENTILASI ALAMI DENGAN SIMULASI NUMERIK COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENDALIAN K3 PADA BENGKEL LAS POLITEKNIK PERKAPALAN NEGERI SURABAYA
Abstract
Shipping Surabaya State Polytechnic is an institution that is engaged in the field of education where the practice is always carried out in the workshop . One very large garage that welding shop , where welding is always done in the workshop . To provide indoor comfort , need to be evaluated against the natural ventilation that occurs in the welding shop . Evaluate the level of comfort that is in Las Workshop Surabaya State Polytechnic Shipping (PPNS ) done by using numerical simulation software Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) with FLUENT 6.3 is solvernya . The simulation results generated in the solver is to see the profile of discharge (volume flow rate) in the room to determine the supply of fresh air across the rooms that exist in the Machine Las investigators so as to know the quantity of air at each point in the workers' activities. In addition, the temperature profile is also used as a parameter to determine the temperature at each point of the room. This temperature as one indication of worker comfort in doing the activity in the Workshop Las PPNS
