PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN BERBASIS LESSON STUDY: PELAKSANAAN DAN MANFAATNYA BAGI MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the lesson study-based Teaching Practice
(LSbTP) in the subjects of Biology at SMA BSS Malang, and its benefits to prospective student teachers.
The study was conducted through field surveys, analysis of the answers to the questionnaire and the
students’ lesson study report. The results show that LS activity went well, learning models designed
collaboratively motivate students to participate actively in learning. The benefits of the implementation
of LSbTP  for prospective  student  teachers  are: 1)  increased  knowledge  about the  LS,  2)  increased
knowledge  and skills  to design  quality learning,  3) increased  knowledge on  innovative learning,  4)
increased mastery of the learning material, 5) increased of the pedagogical ability gradually, 6) increased motivation to always develop competence.
