MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION BERPENDEKATAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI

Abstract:This research aimed to increasescientific attitude and learningoutcomes students’ class X-6
SMA Negeri 1, Banyuwangi in learning Biology through the application model of Group Investigation (GI)
with Problem Based Learning (PBL). Classroom Action Research (CAR) is done with a qualitative
approach. CAR was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the percentage of students
achieving the scientific attitude indicator tends to increase in the mean percentage of students scientific
working skills in the first cycle (68.25) into cycles II (74.25). The mean students’ results of studying
biology also increased between the first cycle (63.7) and cycle II (90.28). Percentage completeness
biology student learning outcomes also tend to have increased on the first cycle (30%) and cycle II
(97.5%).
