MEMINIMALISASI DAMPAK PENAMBANGAN MELALUI PENDIDIKAN LINGKUNGAN BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL

Abstract

Abstract:Environmental condition and natural resources in Indonesia have been degraded, both in quality and quantity. One of the causes are mining activities. The TTS mining has been commonplace since
2003. Damage due to mining impacts on land degradation, reduction in the quantity and quality of water,
loss of natural habitat loss and climate change of micro and macro. Environmentally sound mining based
on ecology and local  wisdom necessary  to maintain  the the carrying  capacity  of the environment.
Environmental management is done by looking at local condition and with regard to the value and norms
adopted by society as form folk wisdom in the management of natural resources and the environment.
Early  efforts to  save  the  environment can  be  done through  environmental  education  based on  local
wisdom.
