Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa terhadap Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Anak Tunanetra di SLB/A Surabaya

Abstract


This studi has a purpose to increase the reading skill of blind person in Special Education /A that comprising : reading ability and mastering of subject of Indonesia study with a worksheet L1 class. Blind person is a person who loss of eyesight because of something, either was born or had already been adult with all its classifies and characteristics need a special education service. The using of worksheet of Braille is one of the special servise form for bilind person. Worksheet is a study medium planning which concist of a purpose of study, summarizing subject, exercise and task, aswer and formative test. In this way, the blind person is able to get the informasi, new knowledge, change their attitude and increase the ability by reading activities easily. This study is using a single group of pretest – posttest design, and five students of L1 class Specia Education / A Surabaya as population. Based on data analisys is gainet t : 1,82 for reading skill and t : 1,64 for mastering the study subject, it turned out that it’s smaller than teble t : 2,133 with df.4 on 0,95 significant level, it means receiving Ho significantly, the using of worksheet in Indonesia Study wasn’t influential the efforts of developing reading skill of blind person L1 class in Special Education /A Surabaya. But in blind person studing have indicated more reading activities after finding the exercise which isn’t answered yet on worksheet. Blind person seem begin to read literature, other the of same books, and discuss among their friends.
