Kemiskinan Pascakrisis di Indonesia: Analisis Segi Ekonomi, Pendidikan, dan Solusi Kebijakan

Abstract


The increasing population of poverty after economy crisis 1997 have nationally been central concern, so that gathering about current poverty population data in Indonesia have intensively been conducted. Some of important indicators as the basic measurement about poverty include the following aspects: economic, education, and health. Data about poverty population is required for guiding the government policy to determine the APBN. Based on the BPS data, this article analyses the three mentioned aspects. By using Human Development Index (HDI) and Human Poverty Index (HPI) this article comes to conclution that the national development during pre crisis had caused on deepened gap between regions those were closed to and far from the central government. This condition needs to be corrected by using new policies, not only in terms of income distribution, but also in terms of anti poverty and social security as well.
