MANAJEMEN PENGEMBANGAN SEKOLAH DASAR BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BANGSA

Abstract

Abstract:   Management of primary schools development based on nation character education. Purpose of this research was to describe Management of primary schools development based on nation character education influenced by schools’ culture, teachers’ professionality,  and parents participation  in the excellent elementary schools Bandung City.  Research method used was deskriptive quantitative. Population of teachers and principals of exellent schools Bandung city  were 550. The sample acquired by random sampling  were 203 people.   Research results showed that there were: (1) influence of school culture on nation character education  23,1%., (2)  influence of teachers’ professionality on nation character education  26,8%. (3) influence parents participation  on nation character education  31,7%. Influence of school culture, teachers’ professionality, and parents participation  were 33,8%, while the rest were influenced by other factors.
Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pengembangan program sekolah berbasis pendidikan karakter terhadap pengaruh budaya sekolah, profesionalitas guru, dan partisipasi orang tua pada SD unggulan di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi guru dan kepala SD Unggulan di Kota Bandung sebanyak 550 orang. Sampel berdasarkan sampling random sebanyak 203 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh: (1) budaya sekolah terhadap pendidikan karakter bangsa sebesar 23,1%., (2) Pengaruh profesionalitas guru terhadap pendidikan karakter bangsa sebesar 26,8%. (3) Pengaruh partisipasi orang tua terhadap pendidikan karakter bangsa sebesar 31,7%. Pengaruh budaya sekolah, profesionalitas guru, dan partisipasi orang tua secara simultan terhadap pendidikan karakter bangsa sebesar 33,8%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 66,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
