Abstract


 The purpose of the study was to apply the mastery learning principles and remedial action for seventh graders of Junior Secondary Lab School State University of Malang. The study was also intended to evaluate the impact of this strategy on their mathematics achievement. The design used in the study was classroom action research. Data gathered through test, observation, interview, discussion, and field notes. The findings indicated that the above strategy students achievement has improved student achievement in mathematics.
