Abstract


In this article, the author proposes a simple model to identify the chance to pass from a multiple choice test. Utilizing binomial distribution, the chance is presented as a function of students understanding levels about the matters to be tested. In addition, by using spreadsheet, for many combinations of examination parameters, such as: the total items, minimum passing level, and the number of options for every item, these chance will be easily obtained.
