On Ramsey-Type Problems

Abstract

In this paper, we give a brief survey on four problems of Ramsey-type. The first and second problems are concerned about a sequence of numbers. The third one appears in discrete geometry and the final one is about Ramsey numbers. These problems have the same property, namely they are the problem of finding a regular substructure in a sufficiently large combinatorial structure.
