PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY TRAINNING MODEL DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATAN HANDS-ON ACTIVITY SISWA SMPN 4 MALANG

Abstract


Abstract: This research aimed to describe hands-on activities of student at grade 7th D SMPN 4 Malang.  The research used a classroom action research (CAR) design. Action used in the research is inquiry trainning model. The instruments used are an assessment rubric of hands-on activities, data recording, and field notes. The result showed that Inquiry Trainning Model to enhance students' hands-on activity. This can be seen from the increasing ability to ask whether oral or written from 4.65 and 0.00% in the first cycle increased to 6.67 and 8.89% in cycle II. Hands-on activity is shown with the ability of students to formulate hypotheses from 2.33 to 60.00%, conduct experiment from 11.63 to 20.00% and presents experimental data from 11.11 to 15.56% in cycle I and II.
