ORIENTASI DAN AGREGASI MOLEKUL PADA PROSES DEPOSISI FILM DISPERSE RED-1 DENGAN METODE ELECTRIC FIELD ASSISTED PHYSICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION

Abstract


Abstract: It has been synthesized a Disperse Red 1 (DR1) film prepared by Electric field assisted Physical Vapor Deposition (EFA-PVD) method. This method is a developing from conventional PVD implemented an electric field in the chamber. The film was achieved from deposition of DR1 molecule on silane at various of electric field. The yielded film was characterized and analyzed by means of FTIR spectroscopy, UV-Vis, and X-Ray Diffraction. The spectroscopy measurement shown that DR1 molecules ordered in stacking perpendicularly to its substrate surface. The results indicates that aggregation effect of molecule arrange parallel due to hydrogen bond.
