Abstract


Abstract: Motivation is one of important aspects on succesful learning influence. There are two types of motivation, internal and external motivation. Learning motivation can be seen in the form, active learning, comfortable learning, or curiousity in getting lesson. Realization of active learning or comfortable learning can be formed as good score of test, finishing task and actively attent any learning activity. One of the ways to increase internal learning motivation of students is applying classroom based assestment in open way.  Objective of this research is to know how great of students learning motivation on Thallophyta Botany Course using classroom based assestment in open way. There are two types of obtained data of research, first is quantitative data in the form scores of  task, presentation, practical work report, and test. Second is qualitative data in the form of student opinion on classroom based assestment in open way and relation between motivation and their study. Based on these data, student learning motivation is analysed. The results showed 72% students feels motivate by this assesment.
