MENINGKATKAN PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJAR KIMIA DENGAN PERPADUAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE DAN COOPERATIVE STANDING MOVING

Abstract

Abstact: Chemistry instruction in XI-IPA class was conducted using both lecture and group discussions. Leaning outcomes resulted from the process were very low. To overcome the situation, an action research study was conducted by implementing a combination of  Learning Cycle model and Cooperative Standing Moving method. The the study aimed to investigate the feasibility of the model on the topic of acid-base, students’ motivation and  learning outcome. The results showed there was an improvement on students’ learning outcomes and their motivation in each cycle. Thus, the model was feasible and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes and motivation.

Abstrak: Pembelajaran kimia di kelas XI IPA menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil yang diperoleh selama proses sangat rendah.Untuk mengatasi situasi ini dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan perpaduan model pembelajaran learning cycle dan cooperative standing moving. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyelidiki kelayakan model pada topik asam-basa, motivasi siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa pada setiap siklus. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa.
