MENGHADIRKAN RUANG BAGI BURUH PEREMPUAN DALAM STUDI SEJARAH INDONESIA

Abstract

Abstrak: penulisan posisi buruh perempuan dalam studi sejarah Indonesia memiliki tantangan yang serius. Pertama, wacana buruh dilarang oleh Orde Baru karena dianggap kiri. Kedua, buruh per-empuan hilang dari peredaran kajian sejarah Indonesia secara signifikan oleh karena faktor pertama. Ketiga, sulit menemukan sumber sejarah seperti arsip yang khusus menghasilkan dokumen buruh perempuan. Kerangka metode sejarah dipakai untuk merangkai beberapa data terkait. Tulisan kese-jarahan buruh perempuan ini dihadirkan dengan semangat masa-masa yang menarik dalam sejarah Indonesia. Hal ini dengan guna ilmu sejarah dalam usahanya memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat In-donesia akan kemajemukan budaya dan nilai hidup melalui alam demokrasi yang sehat.

Abstract: the writing of labour position in the study of Indonesian history faces a serious challenge. First, the labour discourse is banned by the New Order because it is claimed as the left. Second, the woman labour is rarely as a focus of Indonesian history study that is caused by the first factor. Third, it is difficult to find the primary sources like the specific archives of woman labour. This study used the historical method. This article of labour women history is showed by the spririt of the interesting period in the Indonesian history. This is related by the aim of history in order to fill the need of Indonesian society for the multicultural society and the values of life in the context of well shaped democracy.
