TARIKAN PERGERAKAN KENDARAAN PADA SEKOLAH DASAR DI PERKOTAAN

Abstract

Abstract: The Vehicle Trip Attraction at Basic School in Urban Area. A basic school is a place where teaching-learning activities are conducted and a location where traffic jams are usually take place in morning time. The purpose of this research is to determine the model of  vehicles trip attraction at basic school buildings in Malang. The survey is conducted in 20 schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah by using purposive sampling from school infrastructure data obtained from the Office of National Education Ministry in Malang. 699 respondents give the data concerning socio-economics status and accessibility by using random sampling. The data is analyzed by using Person Correlation and Linear Regression. The result shows that the trip attraction for two-wheels vehicles has 3 indicators: family income more than Rp 1,000,000 per month, trip distance more than 5 km, and school operational cost per year. Meanwhile, the trip attraction for four-wheels vehicles has 3 indicators trip time less than 25 minutes, trip cost Rp 100,000 per month, and total floor area for class interaction in each school. The observation and prediction model results have no difference significantly.
