TINGKAT KESULITAN PEMBUATAN GAUN PAS BADAN

Abstract

Difficulty Level of the Practicum of Making a Body-Fit Dress. This re­search aims to determine the difficulty level of the Prac­­­­ticum of Making a Body-Fit Dress. This research is a descriptive research with a quan­ti­ta­ti­ve ap­proach. The sam­ple in this research is the 62 students of academic year of 2011/2012, who have al­ready taken the course of the Technique of Making Wo­men's Clothing. Data were collected using a ques­tionnaire. Data were analyzed using a descriptive statistic with per­cen­ta­ge. The results showed that five out of six sub-variables have a difficulty le­vel high­er than 50.00%. The difficulty level of making a pattern 67.80%, rupturing a pat­­tern  53.20%, la­ying a pattern on materials 66.20%, cutting 54.80% and sewing are 70.90% respectively. All of this difficulty levels are ca­te­go­­rized as ve­ry difficult, dif­ficult, and quite difficult. On the other hand, only one sub variable that has a dif­fi­cul­ty level lower than 50.00%. This variable is fi­nish­ing, which has a difficulty level of 43.60%.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesulitan mahasiswa dalam Pem­­buatan Gaun Pas Badan. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuan­­ti­ta­tif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 62 mahasiswa angkatan tahun 2011/2012 yang su­­dah menempuh matakuliah  Teknik Pembuatan Busana Wanita. Tek­nik pe­ngum­pulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis adalah statistik des­krip­tif de­ngan per­sentase. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan dari keenam sub variabel 5 di­­an­tara­nya me­nunjukkan kesulitan di atas 50,00%, yaitu tingkat kesulitan membuat pola (67,80%), pe­cah pola (53,20%), meletakkan kain pada bahan (66,20%), me­motong (54,80%), dan menjahit (70,90%) yang semuanya tersebar pada kategori sa­ngat sulit, su­­lit, dan cukup sulit. sedangkan untuk tingkat kesulitan yang di bawah 50,00% ha­nya satu sub variabel yaitu pada finishing, mencapai 43,60%.
