Responding a high demand of academic article publications, Jurnal Pendidikan Akuntansi (JPA), which has been published since 2012 with the scope in field of accounting education, was transformed to Journal of Accounting and Business Education (JABE) in 2016. JABE has been broadening its scopes in the ideas of philosophical, conceptual, theoretical, critical review, and research in the field of accounting and business education.
Some aspects that have been changed from JPA to JABE are explained as follows: (a) The submission guidelines have major changes; (b) The referencing style follows American Psychological Association (APA) and author(s) is necessarily uses a referencing software (i.e. Zotero, EndNote, etc.); (c) JABE has engaged with professional reviewers from other countries
