Abstract

Abstract: The use of environtment as learning resources allow a more meaningful learning and help
students and  teachers in  the learning  processes. Aspects  of the  natural environment  can be  studied
directly by learners in different ways. Habits to take advantage of the facilities available in the natural
environment in the process of teaching and learning is a form of environmental approach in teaching
and learning. The development of critical and creative thinking skills is needed to be done at school.
The development of critical thinking skills in science teaching can be done through the application of
various learning models, including STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) and TGT (Teams Games
Tournaments)
