Abstract


Abstract:This is a quasi experiment research, to analysis:(1) the effect of STAD learning strategy using
portfolio assessment towardscritical thinking ability of students on biology learning, (2) the effect of
academic ability to critical thinking ability of student on biology learning, (3) the effect of interaction
between STAD learning strategy using portfolio assessment and academic ability towardscritical thinking
ability of student on biology learning.The result of this research are following: (1) there is effect of STAD
learning strategy using portfolio assessment to critical thinking ability of studenton biology learning; (2)
there is effect of academic ability tocritical thinking ability of student on biology learning; (3)  there is no
interaction effect of STAD learning strategy using portfolio assessment and academic ability tocritical
thinking ability of studenton biology learning.
