PEMBELAJARAN BIOTEKNOLOGI BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC, TECHNOLOGY, AND INFORMATION LITERACY

Abstract


Abstract: Application of biotechnology generates many benefits while still should be considered the potential risks and dangers of the use these technologies. The nature of biotechnology such, requires mastery of both the right and the field, so that eventually acquired the ability to be able to make decisions about where biotechnology is good and which can result in a less favorable risk. Scientific, technology, and information literacy is learning to integrate the ability to access and evaluate information using the Internet with the ability to use science to answer everyday phenomena and personal decisions based on the knowledge gained. Creativity in science education, appropriately called ”scientific creativity”, so the need for creativity in learning, especially in science education requires teachers to consider studying science in the context of scientific creativity. Learning to use STIL biotechnology have relevance in empowering creative thinking skills.
