STRATEGI METAKOGNITIF DAN KEMAMPUAN AKADEMIK MEMPENGARUHI MAHASISWA DALAM BELAJAR BIOLOGI
Abstract
Abstract: This research aims at finding out the difference of metacognitive and cognitive abilities of the students (1) taught through Thinking Empowerment by Questioning (TEQ) and TPS with the students taught using multistrategy and learning journal, (2) with different academic abilities, and (3) given metacognitive strategies on the different academic abilities. The statistic analysis used were Anacova and LSD. The result of the research shows that there were (1) differences in metacognitive and cognitive ability of the students who were given metacognitive strategy through TEQ and TPS from those given multistrategy and learning journal, (2) no differences in metacognitive abilities of high and low academic abilities, (3) differences in cognitive abilities of high and low academic abilities, (4) differences in metacognitive abilities in students given different metacognitive strategies on different academic abilities, (5) no differences in cognitive abilities of the students with different academic abilities.given multistrategy and different metacognitive strategies.
