Abstract
Abstract: Improved quality of learning can be carried out towards a new paradigm through cooperative learning based on constructivist learning, the more emphasis on student centered activities based on students. Cooperative learning involves students working collaboratively with positive interdependence to achieve common goals. Jigsaw cooperative learning model emphasizes the positive interdependence in the work, this is indicated by the original group and expert group. Settlement of the subject matter through interdependence is the responsibility of the original group or a group of experts who lead the individual seeks to empower students to be responsible for metacognition skills of self and group. Interdependence in a Jigsaw cooperative learning has the potential to improve students metacognition skills.
