Pengaruh Model Treffinger Dalam Meningkatkan Kecakapan Berpikir Kritis pada Kondisi New Normal

Abstract


Abstract: Treffinger's model has provided an alternative to learning geography. The purpose of this research to find out about the effect of Treffinger's learning model in improving critical thinking skills. The research is design used a quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest design. This research was conducted on students in class XI IPS 1 and IPS 2 MAN 1 Kota Malang. The results of analysis using Mann-Whitney U Test showed of 0.193 > 0.05 and had a gain score of 17.91 in the experimental class and 3.83 in the control class. Based on the gain score, the Treffinger model has an effect on improving critical thinking skills in class XI IPS MAN 1 Kota Malang.

Abstrak: Model Treffinger telah memberikan alternatif pada pembelajaran geografi. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran Treffinger dalam meningkatkan kecakapan berpikir kritis. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi experimen dengan pretest dan posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa di kelas XI IPS 1 dan IPS 2 MAN 1 Kota Malang. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan angka 0,193 > 0,05 dan memiliki nilai gain score 17,91 di kelas eksperimen dan 3,83 di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan nilai gain score model pembelajaran Treffinger berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kecakapan berpikir kritis di kelas XI IPS MAN 1 Kota Malang.
