Pengembangan Karir Tenaga kependidikan: (Analisis Perbedaan Gender dan Pengaruh Perspektif untuk Berubah)

Abstract


Within the school context, educational professional career development is related to cope teachers' capability with changing situation. The outcome of professional development is not only affecting to techers' career but also the quality o learning as a result of learning process conducted by qualified teachers. Gender desegregation is still an actual issue to search and perspective to change as well. This research is intended to figure out in which are there gender-based differences for the variables investigated in terms of professional career development for teachers. Moreover, its also intended to look for the impact of perspective to change as predictor of staff development issues, agreeableness of career development areas, and school-higher education collaboration as criterion variables. By using ex-post facto design and survey technique, this research used 75 respondents from four junior high schools taken by using multistage sampling technique. Research findings reveal that there are no differences between men and women, and it is also proved that perspective to change contributes significantly to criterion variables.
