Abstract


The change of rural society to suburban community, or transition bring out of many problems in farmer life. The purpose of this research is to explain the learning behaviour of farmer in managing transformation of livelihood system in transition community. By using phenomenology-ethnomethodology approach is known that learning attitude of farmer in managing transformation of livelihood is done with model of interactive adaptive, accomodative, pragmatic and consultative with outsider or new comer society as change agent. To improve inner strength and survival life of farmer in transition community is needed learning assistance in livelihood with involving the urban society and the group of new comers as agent of change.
