Implementasi Kebijakan Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional (Studi Multisitus pada Tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri di Bali)

Abstract


In an attempt to improve the quality of education, the government has introduced Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf International (Pioneering-International Standard School). However, schools will not be able to implement the policy without improving their quality first, for example in terms of the program, the resources, the process, as well as the other components. This study was carried out in order to describe the implementation of R-SBI at three Senior High Schools in Bali. By employing qualitative approach, the study was successful in gathering valuable information related to the implementation process, the readiness of the resources, the change of strategy and management of the schools, and the role of the headmasters and the teachers as the internal agent of change in the implementation of the policy in the three research sites.
