Abstract


Various problems relating to terms or concepts of biology have frequently been encountered, not only in our country but also in other countries, including the developed countries, the problems include the number of terms used in observing a topic, the difficulty in spelling the scientific terms for fauna and flora, etc. This article discusses several alternative techniques for learning biological terms and concepts, such as analogy, root, and acronym. Although these techniques may increase understanding, teachers are expected to refer to the real world to make the lessons more interesting and more meaningful.
