Abstract

A recent model of learning applied in the class for deafblind multiple handicapped students is quantum teaching. Students are studying a certain case, where experience is needed. Therefore the learning environment has to imitate a world where they can get the experience. Deafblind Multihandicapped learners will come directly to where, for instance, a papaya tree is planted. They would touch or look at the location, the tree, the leaves and, the fruits. Thus, learners would experience improved memory although in fact they often fail. The imple-mentation of all studies would be integrated, not to separate one study from others, and all are functional. Functional here means all activities and material of learning which are applicable in daily life or in the future. Learning by using this model employs various approaches with the intention that all learners with different dis-abilities would be able to understand the subject material provided. This is very much in accord with Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence. The approach should address the seven intelligences by noticing the point of influx of knowledge.
