Abstract

The economic crisis in Indonesia has been due to the ignorance of ideological foundation of state and nation, which should have been the starting point of national economic activities. The economic policy relied too much on neo-classic philosophy which is liberalistic, capitalistic, and imperialistic. This resulted in killing the weak and injustice, and made Indonesia depend on other countries. Indonesia has a populous ideological philosophy which can raise and maintain this nation to be equal economically with other nations, if implemented properly. The main characteristics of this philosophy are co-operation among the government, private companies, and cooperation, and independence which is the basis of Indonesian economy as stated in the Chapter 33 of the 1945 Constitution.
