Abstract

One of the aims of classroom learning is mastering language skills. As a matter of fact, teachers gave less attention and opportunity for students to practise spoken and written language through other subjects. This is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach to describe the contribution of actional learning of a grade 3 elementary teacher to increase students’ speaking and listening. The findings show that the increase of students’ speaking and listening is relatively not maximal qualitatively and quantitatively.
