FABRIKASI SLANTED BRAGG GRATING DI DALAM SERAT OPTIK CLADDING ELIPS UNTUK PERATA GAIN AMPLIFIER OPTIK

Abstract

Abstract: Slanted Bragg Grating (SBG) is a Bragg grating tilted during photoinscription with an angle between the grating fringes and the normal to the fiber axis. The introduction of this angle makes the grating couple most of guided mode into cladding modes in a counter-propagating direction. The envelope of different couplings into radiation modes of SBG forms a nearly non reflecting filter usable for gain equalizing. In this paper we reported that a method to write a SBG in an optikal fiber having elliptical cladding.
