HUBUNGAN BAKAT MEKANIK, MOTIVASI BELAJAR, DAN PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG KETERAMPILAN MENGAJAR GURU DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SERVICE ENGINE SISWA SMK PROGRAM KEAHLIAN MEKANIK OTOMOTIF

Abstract

Basically, there are two factors that influence the learning achievement; external and internal factors. This research aim to analyse the aspects that effect the learning achievement consisted of mechanical aptitude, learning motivation and student perception about teacher’s teaching skill. The population of the research is the students of automotive mechanical Skill Program in SMKN I Sedan Rembang in course year of 2008/2009. The instruments used in this research are aptitude test, questionnaire and documents. The result shows that the mechanical aptitude, learning motivation, and the students’ perception about  teaching skill of the teacher, have a positive correlation with engine service learning achievement for each or as a whole with ry1 = 0,560, ry2 = 0,.489, ry3 = 0,466, and R = 0,743.

Pada dasarnya terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar yakni faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar meliputi bakat mekanik, motivasi belajar, dan persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan mengajar guru. Populasi dari penelitian adalah siswa Program Keahlian Mekanik Otomotif pada SMKN I Sedan Rembang pada tahun ajaran 2008/2009. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes bakat, kuesioner, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakat mekanik, motivasi belajar, dan persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan mengajar guru berkorelasi positip dengan hasil belajar siswa baik sendiri-sendiri atau bersama-sama dengan ry1 = 0,560, ry2 = 0,489, ry3 = 0,466, dan R = 0.743.
