Abstract

Abstract: Contribution of Transformational Leadership Toward  Teachers’ Self-Efficacy on Vocational High Schools in Malang Raya. This study examined the relationships between teachers perceived of principals’ Four I’s dimensions of transformational leadership behaviors and teachers’ self-efficacy. Data were collected from 243 teachers working at 74 Vocational High Schools in Malang Raya using Transformational Leadership Scale and part of School Participants Empowerment Scale. Results of Linear Multiple Regression analysis show significant relationships between teachers perceived of principals’ Four I’s behaviors-idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulations, and individual consideration-and teachers’ self-efficacy. The finding supports earlier studies suggesting that promoting teacher self-efficacy is the power of transformational leaders.
