PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI DENGAN ASESMEN PORTOFOLIO TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF MAHASISWA

Abstract


This research was to determine the effect of differences inquiry with portfolio assessment learning and inquiry learning to critical thinking skills and cognitive students. This research with quasy research experiment design approach with the design of pre-test-post-test non-equivalent control group design. Data were analyzed using parametric statistics to test the hypothesis that analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) using SPSS 22 for windows with a significance level of 0.05. The study was conducted at the State University of Malang Department of Biology, Ecology Course. The research sample consisted of three classes, namely two experimental class and first class control. The results showed that (1) there are differences in the effect of Inquiry with portfolio learning, inquiry learning and conventional to the critical thinking skills of students with sig. 0.00. (2) there are differences in the effect of Inquiry with a portfolio of learning, inquiry and conventional learning to cognitive students with sig. 0,000.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri dengan asesmen portofolio dengan pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa. Pendekatan penelitian quasy experiment design dengan rancangan pre test-post test non equivalent control group design. Analisis data dengan statistik parametrik untuk uji hipotesis yaitu analisis kovarian (Ancova) dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 22 for windows dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Malang Jurusan Biologi Matakuliah Ekologi. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 3 kelas, yaitu 2 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri dengan portofolio, pembelajaran inkuiri dan konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan nilai sig. 0,00 dan (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri dengan portofolio, pembelajaran inkuiri dan konvensional terhadap hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa dengan nilai sig. 0,000.
