Komunikasi Dosen-Mahasiswa dalam Kegiatan Akademik
Abstract
This study investigated the communication quality and its variation. The sample consisted of randomly chosen 120 lecturers of six faculties at IKIP Semarang. Data collected by questionnaire then were analyzed in descriptive measures, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression. The result showed that the quality of lecturer-student communication was high. Among faculties, no variance of the quality of the communication was really significant, nor on the basis of educational achievement and seniority. The quality of communication by lecturers with greater academic tasks was better than the quality of communication by those having less academic tasks. The educational achievement, seniority, and academic tasks, had small contribution to the quality of lecturer-student communication
