Influence Model Assisted Learning Cycle Mind Map to Achievement Physics Laboratory Judging from the performance Grade VIII SMPN 1 Rejoso Pasuruan

Pengaruh Model Siklus Belajar Berbantuan Mind Map terhadap Prestasi Belajar Fisika Ditinjau dari Kinerja Laboratorium Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the effect of the learning cycle models aided the mind map on the learning achievement in terms of the performance of laboratory physics class VIII student on light material in SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso Pasuruan. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used is a 2 x 2 factorial design subject of this study consisted of 204 students. The research instrument consisted of a treatment instrument which includes syllabi, lesson plans and worksheets, as well as measuring instruments including by means of laboratory performance and achievement test. The results showed that the learning achievement of students studying physics model of mind mapping aided learning cycle is higher than that of learning by inquiry learning, there is an interaction between learning and performance laboratory models for studying physics student achievement, as well as physics learning achievement of students who have a high-performance laboratory and studying low-aided learning cycle model mind map is higher than that of learning by inquiry learning. Based on these results it can be concluded that learning with the learning cycle model aided mind map is more effective than inquiry learning on learning achievement physics.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model siklus belajar berbantuan mind map terhadap prestasi belajar fisika ditinjau dari kinerja laboratorium siswa kelas VIII pada materi cahaya di SMP Negeri 1 Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah factorial design 2 x 2. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 204 siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari instumen perlakuan yang meliputi silabus, RPP, dan LKS, serta instrumen pengukuran yang meliputi instrumen kinerja laboratorium dan tes prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar fisika siswa yang belajar dengan model siklus belajar berbantuan mind map lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang belajar dengan pembelajaran inkuiri, terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kinerja laboratorium terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa, serta prestasi belajar fisika siswa yang mempunyai kinerja laboratorium tinggi dan rendah yang belajar dengan model siklus belajar berbantuan mind map lebih tinggi daripada yang belajar dengan pembelajaran inkuiri. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model siklus belajar berbantuan mind map lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap prestasi belajar fisika.
