Membaca-Menulis sebagai Metode Belajar Analisis Meta-Teori

Abstract


Reading-writing can be used as a tool to deepen and master the subject matter to achieve the competencies set. The learning experience answers the challenges of learning in the 21st century because it conditions students to develop their thinking skills. Reading-writing should be synergized for all subjects to support learning across the curriculum. The results of this study are presented in four major themes, namely (1) conceptual relationship of reading-writing and learning method, (2) principles of reading-writing utilization as learning method, (3) procedure of reading-writing utilization as learning method, (4) educational advantage of reading-writing utilization as a learning method.

Membaca-menulis dapat dijadikan alat untuk mendalami dan menguasai materi pelajaran menuju tercapai kompetensi yang ditetapkan. Pengalaman belajar tersebut menjawab tantangan pembelajaran abad ke-21 karena mengondisikan siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikirnya. Membaca-menulis harus disinergikan untuk semua mata pelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran lintas kurikulum. Hasil penelitian ini disajikan dalam empat tema besar, yakni (1) hubungan konseptual membaca-menulis dan metode belajar, (2) prinsip-prinsip pemanfaatan membaca-menulis sebagai metode belajar, (3) prosedur pemanfaatan membaca-menulis sebagai metode belajar, dan (4) keuntungan edukatif pemanfaatan membaca-menulis sebagai metode belajar.
