Abstract

Abstract: The research is a quasi experiment that aims to determine the problem solving ability of students who learn with Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional. PjBL can increase problem solving abilities of students. Data analysis was obtained from students' pretest and post test results using SPSS. Based on the analysis of one path anova obtained F-count 168.86 with P-value (0.000 <0.05) which means there is a very significant difference of problem-solving ability between experiment class and control class. The average score of experimental class problem-solving abilities is higher than the control class. Students are still having difficulties at the Specific Application of Physics and Logical Progression.
