Evaluasi Kebutuhan Modul Bioteknologi Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Mahasiswa Jurusan Biologi

Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the needs of module based Biotechnology with Problem Based Learning for students majoring in Biology Universitas Negeri Malang. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire aimed at 60 students of Biology Department FMIPA UM who have taken the course of Biotechnology with cluster sampling design. Questionnaires are used to evaluate the curriculum, learning process, teaching materials, bioinformatics knowledge, and the need for PBL-based teaching materials. The questionnaire results show that the development of PBL-based biotechnology modules for students in biotechnology courses is essential.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kebutuhan modul Bioteknologi berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk mahasiswa jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang ditujukan untuk 60 mahasiswa Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UM yang telah menempuh matakuliah Bioteknologi dengan desain cluster sampling. Angket digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kurikulum, proses pembelajaran, bahan ajar, pengetahuan bioinformatika, dan kebutuhan bahan ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul bioteknologi berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk mahasiswa pada matakuliah bioteknologi sangat diperlukan.
