Potensi Wisata Edukasi dalam Novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk Karya Ahmad Tohari

Abstract


Abstract: Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk is Ahmad Tohari's novel which describes the life of ronggeng dancers and their socio-cultural environment in a village in Banyumas, Central Java. This novel is widely used as a medium for learning literature in schools because it is rich in depictions of local culture. This makes the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk considered necessary to explore its educational tourism potential. This article aims to explore the potential for educational tourism of Ronggeng dance and wayang kulit in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk. The educational potential that is explored is divided into performance tourism objects, heritage attractions, and activity attractions. Using a mimetic approach and tourism literature, this research is qualitative research.

Abstrak: Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk merupakan novel Ahmad Tohari yang menggambarkan kehidupan penari ronggeng dan lingkungan sosial-budayanya di suatu Desa di Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Novel ini banyak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sastra di sekolah karena di dalamnya kaya akan penggambaran budaya lokal. Hal tersebut menjadikan novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk dianggap perlu untuk dieksplorasi potensi wisata edukasinya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi wisata edukasi tari ronggeng dan wayang kulit dalam novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk. Potensi edukasi yang dikesplorasi terbagi atas objek wisata pertunjukan, objek wisata heritage, dan objek wisata kegiatan. Menggunakan pendekatan mimetik dan sastra pariwisata, penelitian ini termasuk pada penelitian kualitatif.
